Data Strategy to unveil new headquarters July 26; releases 2016-17 economic impact data

Grand Rapids, Mich. – Data Strategy is pleased to announce the official opening of its new corporate headquarters in the Meadowbrooke Business Park with a customer- and partner Open House on Wednesday, July 26 from 2-6:30 p.m.

The event will feature the culmination of more than $3.0 million in capital improvements to the property, which includes 30,000 square feet of warehouse space, office space for some 150 sales, technical and corporate staff, a Network Operations Center, a technology integration center, a lab, and Executive Briefing Center.

“The lab and EBC will help companies solve technology problems and move their business forward,” said Dana Jacks, President of Data Strategy. “The lab will act as a valuable proving ground for clients to test new approaches to infrastructure and workload optimization, while the EBC will provide the right atmosphere for technology education and IT strategy development.”

Prior to the open house, Data Strategy will invite local legislators in for an advance preview of the space and to discuss ongoing investments in Michigan technology employment and training.

Correspondingly, Data Strategy today released a 12-month employment economic impact figures totaling more than $42 million across the company’s five-stategeography of Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, and Georgia. In the past year, Data Strategy has added 31 more technical staff, growing to nearly 400 total staff as of July 1, 2017.

Besides a 5 percent increase in employment, the IT consulting company will complete an additional $1.5 million in capital investments at its Louisville sales and engineering office in August. This follows multi-million-dollar investments and modernization of sites in Indianapolis and Troy in 2016.
