Grand Rapids, Mich. – Data Strategy announced today the appointment of Jim Holycross to the position of Vice President, Cisco Strategy.
Holycross brings more than 30 years of technology sales experience to the organization, with a proven ability to creatively solve customer business challenges. In this role, he will assume responsibility for continuing to grow Data Strategy’s relationship with one of its top manufacturing partners, Cisco.
Holycross will have corporate responsibility for driving Cisco business across all three Data Strategy sales regions: Great Lakes, Central, and Southeast. He will develop key partner relationships, identify business opportunities, and provide support to ensure ongoing sales effectiveness.
“Jim’s experience in the enterprise and mid-market market space will be extremely valuable to Data Strategy as we continue to build our Cisco business,” said Dana Jacks, President of Data Strategy. “This will be particularly true where we are delivering unique solution sets, which has fueled our growth to date, and where we are breaking in new sales territories.”
Holycross will serve as a member of the Data Strategy Executive Management Team.
Jim comes to Data Strategy from a national reseller, where he served as Regional Sales Director. He previously spent more than 17 years with Cisco, most recently as Region Manager, and 18 years with AT&T before that in Sales and Sales Management roles. Jim will work out of Data Strategy’s Troy office, but plans to travel frequently across the territories to provide on-the-ground Cisco support. He is a graduate of Michigan State University, with a bachelor of science degree, and of Oakland University, with a master’s degree in Business Administration.
